13. Joining method for wallboard sheets using tiling adhesive and paper tape:

Use of tile adhesive instead of commercial wallboard bedding and finishing cement gives greater adhesion of adhesives onto tiles and onto the wallboard joining point. (page 79 of "The Bathroom Book") Paper tape is used instead of cloth tape to joins in cement based Villaboard wall sheets. This avoids cracking of tiles, especially horizontally.
