7. Waterproofing to Wall Boards:

Application of a tile adhesive screed using a notched trowel will provide good adhesion as well as sufficient waterproofing to the wallboard. No prior application of acrylic is required when tiling wallboards, a proven procedure for over 30 years. (It is important to follow tiling procedures in The Bathroom Book to avoid capillary action on the wall tile above the floor.)
