Excluding particle board flooring (contains excessive amounts of formaldehyde and disintegrates after long term exposure to water.) Warranty is generally not honoured. Many bathroom failures have resulted with replacement costs as much as $15,000. Many failures occur when particleboard is used in conjunction with acrylic or polyurethane water-resistant paints which pose as waterproof products. The best flooring is Marineply and timber formwork sheeting as used in concreting, or compressed AC Fibre cement sheeting are the best choices.
